About

My name is Rob Ritzenhein. I was born and raised in Mt. Clemens, MI (recently described to me as the New Jersey of Metro Detroit). I attended the College for Creative Studies and left with a degree in Interactive Communications. I decided to pursue a career in web programming with a focus on design. Recently I’ve been doing a lot of work with PHP, MySQL, Actionscript, HTML and Javascript. I enjoy creating projects that push the boundaries of the web. I am currently the senior developer at Octane Design. My goal is to become more involved in the business for which I’ve been working over the past 4 years.
I’ve been actively cycling all of my life. I decided to dive deeper into the sport in June 2007. I ride for the Cycle to Fitness Racing Greyhounds, a Mountain Bike, Road, and Triathlon team. 2008 will be my first year racing and I’m ecstatic to be a part of a committed team. I also enjoy running and hope to run a half marathon with my wife in October, 2008.
My wife and I currently reside in Shelby Township, MI. You can get in touch with me via email at robritz at gmail dot com. (Substitute “at” and “dot” with the appropriate characters)
P.S. I love beer.
